The present invention relates to a multipurpose beam focusing system. More specifically, the system includes: a sampling part sampling an ultrasonic signal with a sampling frequency, N number of times (the N is a natural number) greater than a central frequency of an arrangement converter receiving the ultrasonic signal reflected from a focusing point; a variable multiply part multiplying the sampled ultrasonic signal by a variable coefficient; a memory part storing the ultrasonic signal, outputted from the variable multiply part; a delay calculating part calculating a time delay value to select the ultrasonic signal for beam focusing among ultrasonic signals, stored in the memory part; and a variable filter part selecting the ultrasonic signal for beam focusing among multiple ultrasonic signals by receiving the ultrasonic signals from the memory part, and filtering the selected ultrasonic signal by using the time delay value and the set filter coefficient. The internal structure of the variable filter part is changed as a method to focus a beam of an ultrasonic signal is changed. According to the formation, the multipurpose beam focusing system uses different beam focusing methods while having the same beam focusing structure in a variety of product groups when applied to product development by being formed with one chip or IP. Therefore, the application field is expanded to produce various products.
