The present invention relates to a process for the production of an absorbent tissue smoked, comprising the steps of the provision of a nonwoven fabric of viscose, with a weight per unit area ranging from 25 g / m2 to 300 g / m2； and then for introducing the fabric in a smokehouse comprising chips or powder of smoking； and smoking of the fabric during a period of between 6 and 24 hours. The present invention also relates to an absorbent tissue smoked which can be obtained by the process according to the invention, as well as a process for the transfer of a filament smoked towards a comestible substance using the absorbent tissue smoked according to the invention.
