Method of disinfecting floors byinjecting hot, wet compressed air into the floor,this air being produced by a generator, whetheron board or not, consisting of two cylinders ofdifferent diameters, one (1) of large diameterinto which the atmospheric air is drawn andthen compressed in a chamber (11) to a pressureand temperature sufficient to allow almostinstantaneous vaporization of a dose of liquidand the other (6), facing said chamber, of smallerdiameter in which the charge of humidifiedcompressed air will be partly expanded so asto bring it back to the chosen pressure andtemperature for use in order to inject it into thefloor.
