An immunity-inducing agent containing an effective amount of at least one polypeptide having an immunity-inducing activity that induces CD8 + cytotoxic T cells capable of killing tumor cells expressing a human CAPRIN-1 polypeptide and selected from the following polypeptides (a), ( b) and (c), or an effective amount of a recombinant vector containing a polynucleotide encoding the specified polypeptide and capable of expressing the specified polypeptide in vivo: (a) an amino acid polypeptide after the sequence of SEQ ID NO: 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24, 26, 28, or 30； (b) a polypeptide that is 80% or more identical to the polypeptide ( but)； and (c) a polypeptide containing the polypeptide (a) or (b). 2.
