The present invention provides a pharmaceutical formulation of lyophilized Bendamustine suitable for pharmaceutical use. The present invention also provides a process for the preparation of freeze-dried Vendamustin. The pharmaceutical combination may be used in any disease (e.g., tumor) susceptible to treatment with vendamustine.
