PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a medical image more excellently.SOLUTION: In a medical image display system including a server which holds medical image data and a terminal device connected to the server via a network, the terminal device is provided with a display part, and the server is provided with an image processing part for performing image processing to the medical image data which it holds. The terminal device transmits information about performance or properties of the display part to the server. The server which receives the information about performance or properties of the display part performs the image processing by the image processing part, in accordance with the information about performance or properties of the display part, to the medical image data held in the server and transmits them to the terminal device.
