PURPOSE: A cosmetic composition containing Wolfporia cocos extract is provided to promote hair growth and to prevent hair loss without toxicity and side effects. CONSTITUTION: A cosmetic composition with effects of preventing hair loss and promoting hair growth contains complex extract of Wolfporia cocos, Rehmannia root, Ecliptae Herba, Acyranthes bidentata Blume, and dodder as an active ingredient. The extract is isolated using water including purified water, low alcohol of 1-4 carbon atoms, or mixture solvent thereof.
