CONSTITUTION: A cosmetic composition contains 0.001-30.0 weight% of Spiraea prunifolia var.simpliciflora extract as an active ingredient. The Spiraea prunifolia var.simpliciflora extract is isolated by solvent extraction, supercritical extraction, and sonication. The used solvent is selected from the group consisting of water, anhydrous or hydrous low alcohol of 1-4 carbon atoms, propylene glycol, butylene glycol, glycerin, acetone, ethyl acetate, chloroform, butyl acetate, or diethyl ether.본 발명은 조팝나무(Spiraea prunifolia var. simpliciflora) 추출물을 유효 성분으로 함유하는 화장료 조성물에 관한 것으로서, 조팝나무 추출물을 유효성분으로 화장료 조성물의 전체 중량에 대하여 0.001 ~ 30.0 중량%를 함유하는 것을 특징으로 하며, 본 발명에 따르면, 조팝나무 추출물은 항산화 효과뿐만 아니라, MMP-1 생성 억제효과, 자외선 유도에 의한 MMP-1 생성 억제효과, 콜라겐 합성 증진 효과, 멜라닌 생성 억제효과, 자외선 조사에 의한 세포독성완화효과, 자외선 조사에 의한 염증성 사이토카인 발현 억제 효과 및 피부 주름개선 효과가 있어 각종 기능성 화장료를 제공할 수 있다.
