Disclosed is the use of at least one antiproliferative active agent in combination with at least one adjuvant selected from the group comprising vasodilators which comprise kinins, bradykinin, kallidin, histamine or NOS-synthase which releases from L-arginin the vasodilatatory NO, the extract of gingko biloba, DMSO, xanthones, flavonoids, terpenoids, herbal and animal dyes, food colourants, pentaerythrytiltetranitrate (PETN), bibutylphthalate, tributyl- and triethylcitrate and their acteylated derivatives, 2-pyrrolidon, benzoic acid benzylester, diethylphthalate, triacetin, diethanolamine, isopropalmitate and isopropylmyristate for coating of a catheter balloon. Further disclosed is a catheter balloon coated with at least one antiproliferative active agent in combination with at least one adjuvant selected from the group comprising vasodilators which comprise kinins, bradykinin, kallidin, histamine or NOS-synthase which releases from L-arginin the vasodilatatory NO, the extract of gingko biloba, DMSO, xanthones, flavonoids, terpenoids, herbal and animal dyes, food colourants, pentaerythrytiltetranitrate (PETN), bibutylphthalate, tributyl- and triethylcitrate and their acteylated derivatives, 2-pyrrolidon, benzoic acid benzylester, diethylphthalate, triacetin, diethanolamine, isopropalmitate and isopropylmyristate.
