The present invention generally relates to methods for deploying intraocular shunts without the use of an optical apparatus that contacts an eye, such as a goniolens. In certain embodiments, methods of the invention involve inserting into an eye a deployment device configured to hold an intraocular shunt, determining that a distal portion of the device is properly positioned within the eye without use of an optical apparatus that contacts the eye, and deploying the shunt from the device.La présente invention concerne de manière générale des procédés pour poser des dérivations intraoculaires sans faire appel à lutilisation dun appareil optique qui vient en contact avec loeil, tel quun gonioscope. Dans certains modes de réalisation, linvention a trait à des procédés consistant à insérer dans un oeil un dispositif de pose conçu pour maintenir une dérivation intraoculaire, à déterminer quune partie distale du dispositif est correctement positionnée à lintérieur de loeil sans faire appel à lutilisation dun appareil optique qui vient en contact avec loeil, et à poser la dérivation à partir du dispositif.
