Independent claims are included for: (1) Preparation of the mixture； (2) Cosmetic or pharmaceutical compositions comprising the mixture； (3) The preparation of the composition comprising oligomerizing a butane and 4C hydrocarbon in presence of nickel containing catalyst, separating 16C olefin fractions from the reaction mixture and hydrogenating the 16C olefin fractions； and (4) A hair-cosmetic composition comprising 0.05-20 wt.% of at least one hair polymer, 20-99.95 wt.% of a carrier containing the mixture, 0-50 wt.% of at least one propulsion gas, 0-5 wt.% of at least one emulsifying agent, 0-3 wt.% of at least one thickener, and 25 wt.% of further components.
