PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitor device which is configured to be attached to an ear of a person.SOLUTION: A monitor device 30 for attachment to an ear of a person comprises: a base 50； an ear bud housing 16 which is configured to be placed in an ear E of a subject, and extends from the base to outside； and a cover 18 surrounding the ear bud housing. The base includes a speaker 22, a light emitter 24, and a light detector 26.
