The system comprises a remote unit (11) comprising a sensor (12) for acquiring remote sensor data indicative of a motion and/or a physiological parameter of the subject a wearable device (13) comprising a sensor (14) for acquiring wearable sensor data indicative of a physiological parameter of the subject a control unit (15) configured to control acquisition of said wearable sensor data based on said remote sensor data and a processing unit (16) configured to determine a physiological parameter of the subject based on at least one of said remote sensor data and said wearable sensor data.
