PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable diaper which can be easily manufactured and whose front and rear can be easily distinguished by visual recognition from the outside. A disposable diaper of the present invention has an absorbent main body and an exterior body arranged on the non-skin facing surface side of the absorbent main body. The exterior body includes an outer layer nonwoven fabric forming a non-skin-facing surface of the exterior body and an inner layer nonwoven fabric forming a skin-facing surface of the exterior body, and the outer layer nonwoven fabric and the inner layer nonwoven fabric have different colors. In each of the abdominal region and the dorsal region, the outer layer nonwoven fabric has an extending portion extending from the waist opening end, and the extending portion forms a folded portion that is folded back to the skin facing surface side. In one of the ventral side region and the back side region, the end of the inner layer non-woven fabric does not reach the waist open end, and in the other region, the end of the inner layer non-woven fabric is located at the open end. Alternatively, it extends beyond the open end and is folded back together with the outer layer nonwoven fabric.
