PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To confirm a position of a scope tip part in an extracorporeal observation mode while reducing an impact of heat at the scope tip part.SOLUTION: In an endoscope device having a video scope 10 with a scope tip part 10T to which a temperature sensor 16 is provided, a light volume is increased by controlling drive of LED 20 when switched to an extracorporeal observation mode.
