Trichoderma atroviride AGR2 strain, submitted to National collection of cultures of microorganisms (CNCM) of the Pasteur Institute under the number 1-2738, is new. Independent claims are included for: a method of isolating the strain comprising: taking Trichoderma atroviride AGR2 strain on a soil sample, sprinkling and dispersing of the sample on a Petri dish containing an isolation medium at 37-40[deg] C, stirring gently till the solidification of the medium, incubating for several days, and examining, numbering and isolating of the Trichoderma atroviride AGR2 colonies; or taking a soil sample comprising organic material, making sample (10 g) in sterile water (90 ml) with a Tween drop, stirring for 30 minutes, taking the solution (10 ml) and then successive diluting up to 10-6, pouring 10 ml of each solution in 90 ml of isolation medium, maintained in super cooling water bath of 37-40[deg] C, homogenizing and distributing in Petri dish, incubating for 3-5 days, and examining, numbering and isolating of Trichoderma atroviride AGR2 colonies; #a method for selecting the Trichoderma atroviride AGR2 comprising transplanting isolated colonies on PDA medium and exposing to light for 4-5 days, collecting green color spores, mixing spores in sterile water, vigorously choosing the colony, transplanting in a Petri dish, and testing for confrontation with a Botrytis cinerea strain; and #the preparation of the Trichoderma atroviride. ACTIVITY : Fungicide; Plant Growth Stimulant. MECHANISM OF ACTION : None given.
