[Problem] To provide a method for producing an agricultural crop, whereby it becomes possible to improve the quality of the agricultural crop. [Solution] The method for producing an agricultural crop includes: an aqueous solution preparation step of preparing a first aqueous solution containing sodium L-lactate; a plasma irradiation step of irradiating the first aqueous solution with atmospheric pressure plasma to prepare a second aqueous solution; and an aqueous solution feeding step of feeding the second aqueous solution to soil where the agricultural crop is to be grown. Alternatively, a part of the agricultural crop which contains a growth point may be directly irradiated with atmospheric pressure plasma instead of feeding the second aqueous solution.
