The tongue scraper is telescopically engaged with the elongate toothbrush body of the toothbrush, so that the tongue scraper can move between a collapsed configuration and an extended configuration relative to the toothbrush. A locking system may be included for locking the tongue scraper with the toothbrush so that relative movement is prohibited, and a resilient wall may cover and seal each of the locking apertures.
