Ragi is one of the most nutritious food and easy one to digest. This invention relates to a device useful for continuous cooking and discharging of ragi mudde ( called as ragi mudde in south Indian region) and other similar kind of dumpling products such as jowar, foxtail millet mudde etc. The cooking time depends on the raw material characteristics and capacity can be suitably varied by adjusting the residence time and temperature of the heating zones by means of controls. The unit is simple to operate for cooking and discharging ragi mudde continuously. The unit is economically cheaper and hygienic. The unit can also be used for other dumpling products similarto ragi mudde. The unit is easy to dismantling and easy to clean. This occupies lesser space and can be suitably mounted with the available minimum space, as there are no extended parts from the device.
