The present application relates to methods of using humanized antibodies that specifically bind to hepcidin to quantify hepcidin in a fluid sample. Another aspect relates to discriminating, using quantified plasma hepcidin levels, between a subject with a condition due to biallelic TMPRSS6 mutation and other chronic iron deficiency/iron deficiency anemia. Another aspect relates to methods of treatment of a disease or condition related to hepcidin comprising use of humanized antibodies which bind hepcidin to determine hepcidin levels in the subject.La présente invention concerne des procédés dutilisation danticorps humanisés qui se lient spécifiquement à lhepcidine pour quantifier lhepcidine dans un échantillon de fluide.
