PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve air permeability and moisture permeability while maintaining a wearing pressure required as stockings for treating lymphedema or the like.SOLUTION: The stocking for medical use is formed with at least a leg part using a stretchable knitted material knitted with weaving threads and insertion threads having stronger compressive force than the weaving threads. The wearing pressure is weakened stepwise in order of an ankle area 14 from the ankle to the lower end of the calf, a lower leg area 15 from the lower end of the calf to the knee, and a thigh area 16 from the knee to the groin. The ratio of the length of the weaving thread to the length of the insertion thread is set to (the length of the weaving thread):(the length of the insertion thread)=4.3-6.0:1 in the lower leg area, and (the length of the weaving thread):(the length of the insertion thread)=3.3-5.0:1 in the thigh area.COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT【課題】リンパ浮腫等の治療用ストッキングとして必要な着圧を保ちつつ、通気性や透湿性も高める。
