The present invention relates to a super absorbent polymer and a preparation method therefor. The super absorbent polymer, according to one aspect of the present invention, comprises: a cross-linked polymer which includes an acidic group and in which the surface of a base resin is cross linked by polymerizing a water-soluble ethylene-based unsaturated monomer of which at least a part of the acidic group is neutralized； and a water-soluble component, wherein a weight-average molecular weight of the water-soluble component can be 150,000 to 300,000. The super absorbent polymer, according to the present invention, can have high water-retaining ability even with a low content of the water-soluble component while having excellent liquid permeability.La présente invention concerne un polymère superabsorbant et son procédé de préparation. Le polymère superabsorbant, selon un aspect de la présente invention, comprend : un polymère réticulé comprenant un groupe acide, et dans lequel la surface d'une résine de base est réticulée par polymérisation d'un monomère insaturé à base d'éthylène hydrosoluble dont au moins une partie du groupe acide est neutralisée ； et un constituant hydrosoluble, une masse moléculaire moyenne en poids du constituant hydrosoluble pouvant être située dans la plage allant de 150 000 à 300 000. Le polymère superabsorbant selon la présente invention peut présenter une capacité élevée de rétention d'eau même avec une teneur faible en constituant hydrosoluble tout en présentant une excellente perméabilité aux liquides.본 발명은 고흡수성 수지 및 이의 제조 방법에 관한 것으로, 본 발명의 일 측면에 따른 고흡수성 수지는 산성기를 포함하고 상기 산성기의 적어도 일부가 중화된 수용성 에틸렌계 불포화 단량체를 중합시킨 베이스 수지를 표면 가교시킨 가교 중합체, 및 수가용 성분을 포함하고, 상기 수가용 성분의 중량평균 분자량은 150,000 내지 300,000 일 수 있다. 본 발명에 따른 고흡수성 수지는, 수가용 성분 함량이 낮으면서도 높은 보수능을 가지고 동시에 우수한 통액성을 가질 수 있다.
