PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine work machine having an easy-to-attach and -detach cell starter unit.SOLUTION: A motor unit 50 having a cell motor is arranged at a tip of a crank shaft of an engine 20 of an engine work machine 1 such as a cultivator. The motor unit 50 has a waterproof structure. A control substrate and a starting switch for driving the cell motor are arranged on a switch unit 70, and the motor unit 50 and the switch unit 70 are wired by a coated cord 68. The switch unit 70 is arranged on a right handle 3a and immediately below a grip 5a, and an attachable/detachable battery 90 is mounted to the switch unit. Handles 3a, 3b can rotate to a frame 2, and has a positional relationship so that the switch unit 70 does not interfere with an outer blade 8a and an inner blade 7a even when the handles are rotated during being housed. A circuit board for a control circuit is housed in the switch unit 70, and a circumference of the circuit board is completely coated with an urethane agent so as to obtain a waterproof or drip-proof structure.COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT【課題】着脱の容易なセルスタータユニットを有するエンジン作業機を提供する。【解決手段】カルチベータ等のエンジン作業機1のエンジン20のクランク軸の先端に、セルモータを有するモータユニット50を配置した。モータユニット50は防水構造とされ、セルモータを駆動する制御基板と始動スイッチをスイッチユニット70に配置し、モータユニット50とスイッチユニット70を被覆コード68にて配線する。スイッチユニット70は右側のハンドル3aであってグリップ5aの直下に配置され、着脱可能なバッテリ90が装着される。ハンドル3a、3bはフレーム2に対して回動可能であり、収納時には回動されるがその際にもスイッチユニット70は外側耕刃8a、内側耕刃7aと干渉しない位置関係となる。スイッチユニット70内には制御回路用の回路基板が収容されるが、回路基板の周囲をウレタン剤にて完全に覆うことにより防水又は防滴構造とした。【選択図】図1
