PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dental alginate impression material whereby, when a cured product obtained by curing an alginate impression material is separated from a tooth, even if the cured product receives a large force, deformation of the cured product can be suppressed.SOLUTION: A dental alginate impression material includes (A1) alginate which includes &bgr-D-mannuronic acid and &alpha-L-guluronic acid as a unit structure and in which the M/G ratio as a molar ratio of &bgr-D-mannuronic acid to &alpha-L-guluronic acid is in the range of 0.4-0.7, and (B) nonreducing sugar.
