PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical connector to be connected to a medical instrument without using a dedicated connector, having a simple structure, and facilitating assembling.SOLUTION: A medical connector 1 comprises: a cylindrical crown member including a hollow portion penetrating from a first end to a second end, a frame portion provided at an opening of the first end side, and an engagement portion 32 disposed at the second end side a valve element 2 including a slit 21 in which a distal end of a medical instrument is inserted and that is elastically deformable to close the opening of the first end side of the crown member, with the opening engaged with the frame portion and a bottom member 4 including an annular pedestal on which the valve element is placed, at the end portion, a cylinder portion that is inserted in the hollow portion of the crown member from the second end side and clamps the valve element by the frame portion and the pedestal, and an engagement object portion with which the engagement portion of the crown member can be engaged, with the valve element clamped by the frame portion and the pedestal.
