An antitumor vaccine comprising testicular and fetal tissue-derived components is described. Cell preparations are prepared from normal tissues harvested directly from animals. Such vaccines may be used in the treatment and prevention of different cancers. For example, a vaccine consisting of glutaraldehyde-treated cells prepared from sheep testis and fetal lung has been found to be effective in inducing antitumor cell-mediated responses, as well as in prolonging the survival of mice with lung cancer.L'invention concerne un vaccin antitumoral comprenant des constituants dérivés de tissu testiculaire et fœtal. Des préparations cellulaires sont préparées à partir de tissus normaux prélevés directement chez des animaux. De tels vaccins peuvent être utilisés dans le traitement et la prévention de différents cancers. Par exemple, un vaccin consistant en des cellules traitées au glutaraldéhyde, préparées à partir de testicules et de poumon fœtal de mouton, s'est avéré capable d'induire des réponses antitumorales à médiation cellulaire ainsi que de prolonger la survie de souris porteuses d'un cancer du poumon.
