PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stretchable nonwoven fabric having an excellent beautiful appearance, capable of imparting a feeling of security to users without being transparent and having high breaking strength in an elongated state without great pleats in a non-elongated state.
SOLUTION: The stretchable nonwoven fabric 10 has stretchability in at least one direction and has a maximum elongation of &ge50% and comprises low concealing parts 12 with relatively low concealing properties of light and high concealing parts 13 with relatively high concealing properties of light alternatively arranged in the stretch direction when elongated at 1.5 times in the stretch direction without the presence of a substantial difference in the concealing properties of light in the stretch direction when non-elongated in the stretch direction.
