PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oral composition containing collagen peptide and vitamin C, exhibiting controlled discoloration.SOLUTION: The discoloration of the oral composition containing collagen peptide and vitamin C is remarkably controlled by using sodium ascorbate or calcium ascorbate as ascorbic acid to be mixed with the collagen peptide, in comparison with the cases using free ascorbic acid or other ascorbates. The discoloration of the oral composition is also remarkably controlled by containing plant extracts such as extract of lotus.
