PURPOSE: A device for steaming and drying herbal medicine is provided to easily steam and dry herbal medicine as single one device by forming a steam generating device and hot air generating device in an inner container. CONSTITUTION: A device for steaming and drying herbal medicine comprises an inner container(10), a housing(20), a steam generating unit(30) and a hot air generating unit(40). In the bottom part of the inner container, a vapor inlet(11) and a drain pipe(12) are formed. In the top end of the inner container, an exhaust pipe(13) is formed. In the external periphery of the lower inner container, a plurality of through-holes(14) is formed. The housing protects the inner container while maintaining the airtightness. The inner side of the housing is separated from the outer surface of the inner container at a predetermined interval and an air chamber(22) is formed. The steam generating unit is connected to the vapor inlet in order that the generated steam vapor flows in into the inner container. The hot air generating unit fills the generated hot air in the air chamber and is connected to the hot air inlet(21) in order to flow in through a through-hole into the bottom of the inner container.본 발명은 약재 증숙 및 건조 장치에 관한 것으로, 보다 상세하게는 약재가 수용되고 통공이 형성된 내부용기 및 상기 내부용기와 공기챔버를 형성하며 상기 내부용기를 감싸는 하우징을 구비하고, 상기 내부용기에 증기 및 열풍을 공급하는 증기발생수단 및 열풍발생수단을 구비하여 단일의 장치로 누구라도 손쉽게 약재를 증숙 및 건조시키는 것이 가능한 약재 증숙 및 건조 장치에 관한 것이다.본 발명에 따른 약재 증숙 및 건조 장치는, 내부에 약재가 수용되되, 하단부에 증기유입관 및 드레인관이 구비되고, 상단부에 배기관이 구비되며, 하단부 외주연에 복수개의 통공이 형성된 내부용기와； 외부와 기밀을 유지하며 상기 내부용기를 감싸되, 열풍유입구가 구비되고, 내측면이 상기 내부용기의 외측면과 소정의 간격으로 이격되며 공기챔버를 형성하는 하우징과； 증기를 발생시키고, 발생된 증기가 상기 내부용기로 유입되도록 상기 증기유입관에 연결되는 증기발생수단과； 열풍을 발생시키고, 발생된 열풍이 상기 공기챔버에 충진되도록 함과 동시에 상기 통공을 통해 상기 내부용기의 하단부로 유입되도록 상기 열풍유입구에 연결되는 열풍발생수단을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
