PURPOSE: A rice cake steaming apparatus is provided to easily and rapidly collect steam for producing rice cake, and to reduce the rotation speed of a suction fan. CONSTITUTION: A rice cake steaming apparatus comprises the following: a track(T) including a starting section(T1), a steam discharging section(T2), and an ending section(T3)； steamers(J1-Jn) successively moving on the track； earthenware steamers(S1-Sn) mounted on the steamers； a hood(H) installed on the upper side of the steam discharging section, and connected to a duct(D)； a trolley bar(B) installed on the track； moving cable assemblies(M1-Mn) contacting the trolley bar for supplying electricity to the steamers； a conveyor(C) moving the steamers； a moving unit(M) moving the moving cable assemblies； and wheels(W) attached to each steamer.본 발명은 제 1 시루(S1) 내지 제 n 시루(Sn)를 탑재한 제 1 찜기(J1) 내지 제 n 찜기(Jn)가 트랙(T)의 스타트구간(T1)에서 출발하여 스팀배출구간(T2)을 경유한 후 엔드구간(T3)으로 이동토록 함으로써 덕트(D)에 연통되는 후드(H)를 제 1 시루(S1) 내지 제 n 시루(Sn)에 극히 근접하게 스팀배출구간(T2)에 설치할 수 있게 되어 스팀의 신속 용이한 포집은 물론이거니와 흡입팬의 회전속도를 종래에 비해 훨씬 더 상대적으로 낮추거나 더 작은 용량의 것을 사용할 수 있게 되어 소음 저감은 물론이거니와 시설 투자비도 크게 떨어뜨릴 수 있는 떡 찜 장치에 관한 것이다.
