Disclosed herein are compositions useful for inhibiting prostaglandin reductase 1 (PTGR1 ) activity. Further provided is a method of treating cancer, the method including administering to a subject in need thereof an effective amount of a PTGR1 inhibitor. In another aspect is provided a method of treating triple negative breast cancer, the method including administering to a subject in need thereof an effective amount of a PTGR1 inhibitor. In another aspect is provided a pharmaceutical composition including a PTGR1 inhibitor and a pharmaceutically acceptable excipient. In preferred embodiments, the PTGR1 inhibitor is a compound described herein.L'invention concerne des compositions utiles pour inhiber l'activité de la prostaglandine réductase 1 (PTGR1).
