The device has a pressure regulator (16) and a metering valve (14) integrated in a common valve block (18). A shut-off valve (13) is integrated into the block. Connection channels for connecting the regulator and the metering valve are formed in the block. The regulator is arranged at a front side of the block, where a balancing wheel for actuating the regulator is arranged at the front side. The front side points forward in an installation position. The metering valve is arranged in a recess at a peripheral surface of the block, where the surface extends normal to the front side of the block.
