A method of obtaining symmetry information of objects, the method comprises: acquiring at least one second feature point having second orientation information corresponding to orientation information from a ultrasound image of the objects, wherein the orientation information is acquired by reversing first orientation information of at least one first feature point which is extracted from the ultrasound image, based on an arbitrary axis determining a symmetry axis of the objects by using a center point between the at least one first feature point and the at least one second feature point and acquiring symmetry information indicating whether the objects are symmetrical about the determined symmetry axis.
