PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guide wire capable of firmly fixing a coil to a core wire, securing a torque transmission property and flexibility and uniformizing an imaging property further.
SOLUTION: The guide wire 10 includes: the core wire 20 the coil 30 formed of an X-ray impermeable metal wire and mounted on the outer periphery of the distal end part 23 of the core wire 20 an adhesive layer 40 filled in the gap of the core wire 20 and the coil 30 and between the metal wires forming the coil 30 further for fixing the core wire 20 and the coil 30 and a second resin layer 60 put on at least the outer periphery of the distal end part 23 of the core wire 20 so as to wrap the coil 30 and the adhesive layer 40.
