A dual-bearing reel (100) comprising a reel unit (1), a spool (12), a spool shaft (16, 116, 216), and a brake device (24) including a one-way clutch (40, 140, 240), an operating member (42) and a pressing member (44, 144, 244). The one-way clutch (40, 140, 240) has an inner race (50, 150, 250), an outer race (52, 152, 252) and a rolling element (54, 154, 254), and receives rotation of a spool shaft (16, 116, 216) only in a fishing-line casting direction through the outer race (52, 152, 252). The outer race (52, 152, 252) is disposed on the outer peripheral side of the inner race (50, 150, 250), and is rotatable with respect to a reel unit (1). The rolling element (54, 154, 254) is disposed between the inner race (50, 150, 250) and the outer race (52, 152, 252). The operating member (42) is disposed on the outer peripheral side of an end of the spool shaft (16, 116, 216), and is engaged with the reel unit (1) so as to be movable in a spool shaft direction. The pressing member (44, 144, 244) is configured to press the outer race (52, 152, 252). The outer race (52, 152, 252) is restricted from moving oppositely to the pressing member (44, 144, 244) in the spool shaft direction.
