An image acquisition unit applies OCT to the eyeground of the subject eye to acquire an image. An eyeball parameter acquisition unit acquires an eyeball parameter of the subject eye. A fixation position setting unit sets a plurality of fixation positions on the basis of the eyeball parameter. A control unit controls the fixation system such that a plurality of fixation targets corresponding to the plurality of fixation positions are sequentially presented to the subject eye, and also controls the image acquisition unit such that a three-dimensional image of the eyeground is acquired while the plurality of fixation targets are each presented to the subject eye.
