The present invention relates to the field of human and veterinary medicine. The invention solves the problem associated with the lack of an agent for improving the immune response in immunosuppressed individuals, individuals with autoimmune problems and individuals with infections, said invention being capable of reducing the effects of stress and combating tissue fibrosis, the need for anti-inflammatory agents, treatments for acute and chronic hepatitis, treatments for malignant processes and metastasis, as well as thrombocytopenia, both in humans and animals. The present invention comprises a molecular complex formed by a metal ion and a peptide as novel compound and is known as an immunomodulator metallopeptide (IMMP). The claims also include the process for obtaining the complex, the use of the metallopeptide for producing a therapeutic or nutraceutic agent, and the use of said agent in humans and animals.La presente invención es relativa al campo de la medicina humana y veterinaria. El problema que se resuelve con la invención es la falta de un agente que mejore la respuesta inmune en sujetos inmunosuprimidos o con problemas de autoinmunidad, así como con infecciones disminuya los efectos del estrés, combata la fibrosis tisular la necesidad de agentes anti inflamatorios de tratamientos para la hepatitis aguda y crónica de tratamientos contra procesos malignos y metástasis así como la plaquetopenia, todo ello en humanos y animales. Consiste en un complejo molecular formado por un ión metálico y un péptido como compuesto novedoso, el cual se denomina "metalopéptido inmunomodulador" ó "lmmunomodulator metallopeptide" en inglés y que abreviaremos como "IMMP". Se incluyen además en las reivindicaciones el proceso para obtener el complejo, el uso del metalopéptido para producir un agente terapéutico o nutracéutico y el uso de ese agente en humanos y animales.
