PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vaccine to be inoculated to a mother dog for protecting newly born dogs having an immature immune system from a dog microvirus infectious disease.SOLUTION: A vaccine comprising a dog microvirus as an antigen is prepared and is inoculated to a mother dog according to an appropriate immunization schedule thereby to induce a neutralizing antibody against the dog microvirus in the mother dog. The virus-neutralizing antibody is transferred to a newly born dog borne by the vaccinated mother dog.
