PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide better methods for treating pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH).SOLUTION: A treating method of the invention for pulmonary hypertension and related disease like pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) comprises administration of an effective amount of cyclin dependent kinase (CDK) inhibitor including palbociclib, 6-acetyl-8-cyclopentyl-5-methyl-2-{[5-(piperazin-1-yl)pyridin-2-yl]amino}pyrido [2,3-d]pyrimidin-7(8H)-one or pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
