PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve light weight, thin thickness, and miniaturization of a portable digital X-ray detector of a digital X-ray imaging system, to improve ergonomic design and durability of the detector while maintaining the same dimension as a same photographing device, and to protect a fragile inner detector assembly.SOLUTION: In one embodiment, there is provided a portable X-ray detector assembly including a detector array and a housing accommodating the detector array. The housing is provided as a multilayer structure. At least one layer enhances or increases structural integration of the other layers of the housing.
