To provide a raising seedling box sorting apparatus surely identifying even when damage difficult to identify by single visual observation and such as cracking and break occurs.
SOLUTION: This raising seedling box sorting apparatus 1 sorts a damaged product and an undamaged product in a raising seedling box 10 lined up with transportation holes 12 ON a pair of edges extending in parallel to each other and at a prescribed pitch along the length direction of each of the edges. Furthermore and the apparatus includes raising seedling box inspecting means 5 for giving prescribed load so as to expand the hole 12, damage detecting means 6 for detecting that the hole 12 is expanded in an amount equal to or more than a prescribed amount and control means 8 for deciding that the raising seedling box 10 is a damaged product when detecting that the hole 12 is expanded in an amount equal to or more than a prescribed amount.
