The present invention relates to a tree post water managing method through a smartphone application. According to the present invention, a water tank (310) is installed in a tree post (10) which supports a street tree not to fall or assists the growth thereof, and a water supply pipe (320) connected to the ground having roots is installed in the water tank (310). The water supply pipe (320) is installed with an automatic valve (330) to be automatically opened and closed by a control signal of a control unit so as to supply water or stop the same. Also, a wireless communication module in which a sensor unit can communicate with a server is further provided in the tree post (10). The sensor unit communicates with the server through a network communication using the wireless communication module. The tree post (10) can be managed by a smartphone application communicating with the server.
