The invention relates to carbazole derivatives to be used for preparing pharmaceutical compositions for antimicrobial treatment and for controlling unwanted microbial biofilms. According to the invention, the derivatives have the following general formulas: 1a-c and 2a-d containing the carbazole ring derived from carprofen, being substituted with the acyl-hydrazino pharmacophore group or with the 1,3,4-oxadiazole ring.Invenţia se referă la derivaţi ai carbazolului utilizaţi pentru prepararea compoziţiilor farmaceutice destinate tratamentului antimicrobian şi combaterii biofilmelor microbiene nedorite. Derivaţii, conform invenţiei, au următoarele formule generale: 1a-c şi 2a-d care conţin nucleul carbazolic provenit din carprofen, fiind substituit cu gruparea farmacoforă acil-hidrazino, sau cu nucleul 1,3,4-oxadiazolic.
