The present invention is a method of culturing cells, in which a seed medium including cells is added to a starting medium, and culture of the cells is started in the starting medium, the method being characterized in that a biologically-derived medium additive is added to the starting medium and that the amount of C-terminal amides in the protein produced is controlled according to the copper content at the beginning of cell culture in the starting medium.La presente invención proporciona un método de cultivo celular que comprende añadir un medio para siembra que contiene células a un medio inicial y comenzar a cultivar la célula en el medio inicial, en donde el medio inicial tiene un aditivo de medio de cultivo obtenido de organismos añadido al mismo y la cantidad de las especies amidadas C-terminal en la proteína producida es controlada por el contenido de cobre del medio inicial al inicio del cultivo de células.
