Disclosed are a stretched copper alloy mesh sheet with a high permeability rate and a connection method thereof. The mesh sheet is formed by stamping slots from a copper alloy plate strip and stretching same in the direction perpendicular to the plane of the copper alloy plate strip, and has non-equilateral hexagon meshes. Horizontal bars (4) and oblique bars (5) are different in length, a first socket is provided on horizontal bar strips on two sides of the mesh sheet for connecting adjacent mesh sheets, and a second socket is correspondingly provided on the oblique bars at the upper and lower ends of the mesh sheet for connecting adjacent mesh sheets. The adjacent mesh sheets are connected in the horizontal direction by means of inserting first and then clamping and fastening; and the horizontal bars are fitted together correspondingly in the vertical direction via the second socket, and the horizontal bars are connected by twisting adjacent meshes of a second copper alloy wire in different directions to tightly bind the horizontal bars. The stretched copper alloy mesh has a stable structure with no abrasion, reduces the area of the mesh sheet facing the incident flow, reduces biofouling, improves the permeability rate, has a simple connection method and is easily dismounted. The connection structure is stable, and can prevent the seawater corrosion generated by the potential difference of different metals.
