PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plant lighting system comprising a lighting device for plant appreciation/observation in addition to a lighting device for raising plants, which suppresses the degradation of environment for raising the plants at the time of appreciation or observation.SOLUTION: A lighting system (14) comprises a lighting device (20A) for raising plants and a lighting device (20B) for plant appreciation. The lighting device (20A) for raising the plants irradiates the plants with light having luminescence peaks in a blue wavelength region and in a red wavelength region, respectively. The lighting device (20B) for plant appreciation includes: luminous elements (170B) which emit light in a blue wavelength region: a green fluorescent body G which emits fluorescence in a green wavelength region by being excited by light from the luminous elements (170B) and red fluorescent body (R) which emits fluorescence in a red wavelength region by being excited by light from the luminous elements (170B).
