A disposable cap comprising a capsule including a coupling section adapted to couple to an ostomy port and a collapsed, deployable bag (102) for collecting waste content from an ostomate the capsule (104) includes a cavity (106, 306) accommodating said bag (102) in a collapsed state the cap (100) includes a cap-covering (118) attached to the capsule to close an end of the cavity (106, 306) and the bag (102) is configured to deploy by pushing on and ejecting said cap-covering (118) from its attachment when an intestinal pressure (202) received by the bag (102) is above a predetermined pressure.
