A seed meter (44) for metering a plurality of seeds includes a seed disk housing (52) having a seed inlet (62), a seed outlet (82), and a chamber (46, 48) therebetween, a seed disk (54) mounted within the chamber of the seed disk housing, a motor (72) having an output shaft and a gear (70) mounted thereon, the gear being engageable with the seed disk (54) and operable to rotate the seed disk relative to the seed disk housing, a mount (610, 616) fixed relative to the motor (72), the mount having a non-planar engagement surface (642), and a hook (650) attached to the seed disk housing (52), the hook having a non-planar engagement surface (662) engageable with the engagement surface (642) of the mount.
