PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surgical instrument fixing mechanism which can easily discriminate between a slidable state and a fixing state from an appearance, has a simplified structure and excellent operability.SOLUTION: A surgical instrument fixing mechanism 9 includes: a rod part 6； a slide part 11； and an operation part 40. The slide part 11 slides with respect to the rod part 6 by allowing an inner peripheral face of an open hole part 11a for the rod part formed on a part on a base end side to slide with respect to an outer peripheral face of the rod part 6.
