PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spinning reel for fishing readily engaging a fishhook with a reel body, being free from the occurrence of the so-called swinging of a terminal tackle at the end of the fishhook, preventing entwining with protruding parts of the reel body, and further eliminating damage to a veil, a guide etc., by the fishhook in relation to the spinning reel for fishing.SOLUTION: The spinning reel for fishing includes a handle connected to a driving shaft of a winding and driving mechanism mounted on the reel body in claim 1. In the spinning reel for fishing, a hook holder having a fishhook engaging part in the tip side is protrusively installed outwardly in a lateral side of the reel body.
